Broccoli Soup

Sipping my soup
In a coffee cup
One of those things
That I look forward to
One of the only things
I look forward to
Too early in the morning
It’s too late for coffee
Just the right time
For broccoli
So creamy
And so smooth
The taste that I crave
The only thing
That will save; me
From getting hungry
Apple for breakfast
Yesterday
Any day
An apple a day
Keeps the doctor away
Or so they say…
I’ll still have my broccoli
It’s still as good for me
