I look at my watch

Time ticking by

Minutes seem to vanish

Wasted due to disregard

What can you accomplish

In a single minute?

Seconds seem meaningless

But things can change

In a single moment

Like a flash

Before your eyes

Life is a series

Of experiences

Each one teaching us

Something we can use

For something else

Hours pass into days

I am in a daze

Because things are so

Messed up

Around me

Everyone's problems

Seem to be added

To my load

And I'm on that road

To try to make things better

But I am aching

To start making

Thing better
