The Meaning of Respect

My voice is all I have
To express my concerns
To draw the lines
That set the boundary
I'll tell you the limit
And the consequences
Of overstepping
You should know where the bounds are
Don't ignore common sense
You ask before you take
Only if you are given
Those who know nothing of respect
Cannot teach another the meaning
The generation continues
Without knowing the meaning
Of respect
