I used to think
That words were just thus
How meaningful
Or meaningless?
Depending on the context
Depending on what came next
Action on words
Or inaction?
When fantasies just don't do it for us anymore
There has to be something else
Or is there?
Depending on the pretext
Depending on the subtext
The end of suffering
Or the beginning?
Staying still
Or still spinning?
Did you lose it all
When you thought you were winning?
Did you think you were by the book
When you were the one who was sinning?
And all the while you cannot help grinning...
Why because there is no end
If there is no beginning!
There is no way out
If there is no way in
Yet I don't want to let them in
