If Wishes Would Come True

If wishes really did come true
For all of those

Who waited all their lives for the
Instant that life
Started giving us a bit of
Help
Even though
Some of us don't deserve it

Who would have thought that I'd
Only have to wait a quadrillion years
Unless the speed of
Light is faster
Decidedly so!

Could it be so?
Only time can tell
Maybe one day
Each wish will be granted

There is already so much to be thankful for and
Remember that we have to be careful what we wish for
Universal energy cannot differentiate between good and bad
Energy is both good and bad
