Calling The Shots

It's okay. We can't always resonate with everyone.
That's why sometimes we repel people
and they repel themselves.
It takes much more than physical attraction
especially when we let it get to our heads.

But that's not something everyone knows.
Yet they sense it on some level.
Subconsciously when we put others higher
that where we place ourselves. It's okay.
If you're learning, you're learning.
Hard won wisdom through experience.

We don't have to learn all the lessons in one day.
It won't register all at once.
Know when to hold them, know when to fold them.
Know when to walk away...
Even when you don't want to walk away.
Even when they expect you to stay.
You don't have to stay when they expect you to.
Just because they expect you to.
Don't let them use you.
If they don't choose you, they lose you.

Know how much you're worth. Add tax.
Keep them on edge.
Keep them close to falling off.
Remember you are the one who gets to call the shots now.
