Days So Dreary

When the day is dull
And the sky is gray
I long in my heart
For a sunny day
Bright and warm
The kind of day
That makes you feel warm
Inside
Has you ready to get outside
Getting out to the water
By the river
On those spring days
When the snow is mostly gone
And you'd go at the crack of dawn
Just to go and see
What nobody else is around
To see
This is what I long for
On those days so dreary
