A Minor Mistake

It helps me to know
That my opinion
Of myself
Need not change
Just due to a minor mistake

All I did
Was behave as though
I were a kid
I could have put a lid
On anything
I may have shown

I do the same thing over
And I just do not know why
Afterwards I think of it
And I tell myself this lie:
