I am not as compulsive
As you might think
I am not as impulsive
As you may see
I have my reasons
To be
Captivated
By insanity
I know you do not see
Who I really am inside
If only you did see
I wouldn’t have been denied
And every time I see it
I think of how I want it
Even though it’ll never be
Meant for me
But at least I know now
What should have
Been said somehow
You think that all we need
Is time
But how much time
Are you willing to take?
What risks are you willing to take?
What changes are you willing to make?
I think it would
Do you some good
